Barron’s Editor-at-Large Jack Otter to Host New Show Starting Friday, October 4th
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FOX Business Network (FBN) will debut a new weekly primetime program hosted by Barron’s Editor-at-Large Jack Otter on Friday, October 4th announced Lauren Petterson, president of the network. The series, Barron’s Roundtable, is presented by Invesco and will air Fridays at 10PM/ET featuring interviews with investors and major industry leaders about what to expect in the week ahead on Wall Street.
In making the announcement, Petterson said, “We’ve made Fridays the destination for smart and in-depth business coverage for everyday Americans who aspire to have financial freedom and we’re excited to add Jack to our formidable lineup.”

Each Friday, Otter will welcome major influencers from across the business, finance, and political spectrum to discuss major news of the week. In addition, Barron’s Associate Editor Jack Hough will join the program regularly to provide behind the scenes details from the new Barron’s issue, as well as preview his signature “Streetwise” investing column. The weekly half-hour program will follow Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street (9PM) and WSJ at Large with Gerry Baker (9:30PM), which draw in some of the most affluent audiences in all of cable, according to Nielsen Media Research, adding to a powerful and informative evening of business television.
In addition to his role on FBN, Otter serves as editor-at-large of Barron’s. He has previously served as interim Editor-in-Chief of Barron’s and Associate Publisher of the Barron’s Group Wealth & Asset Management division. Prior to Dow Jones, Otter was articles editor at SmartMoney magazine and later, as founding executive editor of CBS MoneyWatch.com, he directed content and oversaw the publications’ features. Otter’s written work has also appeared in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, Newsday, and The New Yorker.
